The President

Leads with intention to keep the mission on track,

the team aligned, and the spotlight on seniors in distress

The Child Development Program in Kenya is a holistic initiative aimed at improving the well-being, growth, and potential of children in both urban and rural

Guiding the Organization
Adeola brings more than 10 years of combined experience in public health and project management to her role as President. Public health focuses on preventing harm, improving well-being, and understanding how health, housing, safety, social connection, and access to help shape people’s lives. She uses this perspective to identify conditions placing seniors at risk and set priorities that respond to their needs. Her project management experience turns SID’s mission into structured programs, defined responsibilities, and measurable results.

“A strong mission is just words until people accept the responsibility,
do the work, and remain committed when challenges arise.”

Setting the Standard
Compassion, responsibility, ethical leadership, and follow-through shape how SID serves seniors, supports families, and represents itself in the community. Under her direction, every Advocate understands that earning trust takes more than good intentions—it requires respectful treatment, sound judgment, and action that moves concerns toward resolution.

Strengthening Leadership
Leading the executive team includes helping each Advocate take ownership of their area. She defines responsibilities, connects individual priorities to SID’s overall direction, and encourages informed decisions and new ideas. This approach builds a leadership team prepared to solve problems, uphold standards, and move the mission forward together.

Building SID for the Future
Preparing SID for responsible growth requires strong plans, internal systems, and future leaders. Her public health experience helps her anticipate changing needs among seniors and their communities, while her project management background provides the structure to evaluate progress and expand without losing sight of the organization’s purpose.
This foundation allows SID to continue beyond any one person, program, or partnership.
