How long does it take to get approved for Medicaid?
It could take up to 30 days, or longer for a disability review. Our Advocates can help with applying and uploading documents.
Where can I check the status of my application?
Check your MyACCESS account or call Medicaid at 850-300-4323. One of our Advocates can help check, too.
Can SID help if my application was denied?
Yes. Our Advocates can review Medicaid notice, explain the reason given, and help understand what is next. Medicaid makes the eligibility decision not SID.
Do I need to become a SID member to get Medicaid help?
No. We help with Medicaid applications for free, no membership required. Applying for Medicaid does not enroll anyone in SID.
