Responsibilities
Help write and post volunteer opportunities
Review applications and schedule interviews
Welcome new volunteers and guide them through onboarding
Maintain accurate volunteer records and required forms
Help match each volunteer’s skills with the right role
Track training, availability, and service hours
Check in with volunteers and help address concerns
Support recognition, retention, and team engagement
Protect private information and maintain confidentiality
Assist with HR policies, procedures, and special projects
Qualifications
Experience in recruiting, administration, or volunteer coordination
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization and attention to detail
Ability to handle private information with care
Comfortable working remotely and managing independently
Respectful when working with people from different backgrounds
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or HR systems
Commitment to seniors, families, and the mission of SID
